This year, Mediterranean has begun the process of changing out its fleet of service vehicles in an effort to do our part in keeping our fuel consumption and emissions to a minimum. The Ford Transit Connect was selected because of its “best-in-class” fuel economy. Service Manager Randy Gardner, in his 36th year at Mediterranean, said “We are entering our sixth decade of residential energy conservation management, and we need to practice what we preach. We all need to do our part in protecting our environment, and this is a very big step. These vehicles get twice the mileage that our old fleet did…..and that translates to savings for our clients, as well as our environment.” So the next time you see one of our new, energy efficient vehicles next to you on the freeway, remember the reasons we have made the switch………to do our part to conserve and keep Southern California beautiful.
